Q: What does it take on our end (the plant or utility) to get the bushing ready to repair?
A: The bushing must be de-energized, grounded and tagged out. Plant or utility must provide lifting device and 110 power to area.
Q: What type of insulator test will be conducted to ensure that the repair is successful?
A: We conduct a Hi pot test and/or ground tests
Q: Do you guarantee your repair work?
A: Yes. For 12 months from the date of repair.
Q: What is the life expectancy of repair/work?
A: Our porcelain repair technology has been used for over 24 years to date with no failure reports.
